Do not take shower immediately after an intense workout. Drink lots of water before taking a steam bath to avoid dehydration. Do not use steam bath for more than twenty minutes. Avoid using steam room if you see open wounds.
You will find that some of the models out there are adjustable, so you can change the water pressure and the way the water flows. This is great for those who just want to take a traditional shower, or for those who live with other people that may have different preferences.
